Welcome to the Spotlight On… brought to you by The Little Yellow Building in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
We are celebrating Mississippi Artists of all walks of life, providing them with a platform to share themselves and their work. I have invited artists from all across the state to take the Spotlight and tell us a little more about the interesting lives they lead.
I am joined this week by Mississippi Conceptual Artist and Professor Kristen Tordella-Williams who just floods knowledge all over this episode. She shares about her journey with Art into a profession, teaching equality in the classroom (referenced books and authors listed below), tips on how to be a better artist and human, and some much needed advice on bringing Public Arts into your communities.
