About the speakers:

Host (Hadeal):

Hadeal is an activist and online content creator who speaks about politics, social issues and activism. She has spoken at the United Nations and Parliament and has built a platform of over 100,000 followers from speaking about politics. She recently launched this podcast as a way to expand and unpack political discourse.


Guest (Parker):

Parker McMullen Bushman is a dynamic speaker that engages audiences in new thinking around what it means to be a diversity change agent, an inclusive leader and building capacity for transformational change. Parker is currently the Colorado State University Director of Extension for the City and County of Denver. Parker’s background in the interpretation, conservation, and environmental education fields spans 24+ years. Parker has a passion for justice, accessibility, and equity issues. Parker’s interest in diversity, equity and inclusion issues developed from her personal experiences facing the drastic lack of diversity in environmental organizations and green spaces. Parker tackles these complex issues by addressing them through head on activism and education. In addition to Parker’s role at CSU she is also the founder of a DEIJ consulting firm called Ecoinclusive, the creator of KWEEN WERK and the co-founder of Inclusive Journeys.
