About the speakers:

Host (Hadeal):

Hadeal is an activist and online content creator who speaks about politics, social issues and activism. She has spoken at the United Nations and Parliament and has built a platform of over 100,000 followers from speaking about politics. She recently launched this podcast as a way to expand and unpack political discourse.

Guest (Kiera) :

She has been recognized for her work as both a dancer and choreographer as she travelled across North America to train with the best dancers and learn from the best choreographers. Along the way, Kiera became a member of the Young Lions, Immabeast and Immabreathe - all LA based companies. She has assisted choreographers including Ian Eastwood and Janelle Ginestra. Kiera premiered her piece “Wash” at Loyola Marymount University’s student concert, which was chosen to be presented again at the American College Dance Association Gala in March of 2019. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in education from LMU in December of 2019. She has had a solo performance on Canada’s hit TV show The Next Step, as well as appearing on Make it Pop. 

Kiera has over 195k followers on TikTok where she discusses the effects oppressive structures have on our world, and the importance of uplifting marginalized voices. Through the use of her platforms and teachings, Kiera aims to better the mental health of youth and uplift the voices of the unheard.
