The Kreisches of Fayette County Decade of Prosperity

1870-1880..The decade of prosperity for the Kreische family of Fayette County. The birth of their sixth child, Julia in January 1870. The couple now have three boys and three girls. The increased wealth through the production of the brewery with the year 1878 being the high mark for beer sales. The introduction of ice cold beer at the end of the decade and the increase in competition from national brewers, Lemp and Busch.
