When major depression drains the joy out of everything—gaming, movies, and basic chores—how do you keep moving forward? Today, I share an honest update on where I’m at mentally, balancing the aftermath of a hypomanic episode with the reality of zero energy. I discuss my recent medication changes, why I chose to stop ECT, and why I’m now turning to TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) as my next treatment. I explain how TMS works to stimulate underactive brain pathways without anesthesia or downtime. To wrap up, I read a powerful email from a listener offering scripture, prayer, and encouragement through 2 Corinthians.Support me on Patreon: http://patreon.com/gok Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

This week we're revisiting the idea of being “fully healed,” and sharing what a busy/challenging week looked like for me and my family. We're talking about therapy, ECT, medication side‑effects, a Florida vacation (dolphins, roller‑coasters, roaches), and how I'm still managing chores, volunteering, and quality time with loved ones despite feeling “down” at times. Am I healed? Does it really matter when you're determined to keep moving forward? After 12 years of anguish from bi-polar depression I appear to finally be free! Therefore I have had a week on cloud nine. I'm able to be my old self, hang out with my kids, volunteer, create music, podcast, do chores and more! When you play stupid games you win stupid prizes. In other words, you reap what you sow. This week I've had various examples of this pass through my life. People who have rejected God's way to do things their own way... and bad stuff is coming. God's ways are best for a reason. Thanks for listening folks!
