Episode 02 Christ-Centered

What does it mean to be Christ-centered?
As Confessional Lutherans, being Christ-centered means proclaiming what Christ has done for guilty sinners. Jesus did not come merely to be our example or to teach us how to live. He came to bear our sins, suffer in our place, die on the cross for our forgiveness, and rise again to give us life and salvation.
In this episode, we explore why Christ came into the world, what He accomplished on the cross, and why His saving work is the very heart of the Christian faith. From Genesis to Revelation, the Scriptures point us to Christ as the Savior of sinners.
The Lutheran Confessions faithfully confess this biblical truth. They direct us away from trusting in ourselves, our works, or our merits, and instead point us to Christ alone, whose perfect obedience, atoning death, and victorious resurrection are the only basis of our forgiveness and justification before God.
Join us as we consider what it truly means to be Christ-centered and why the message of Christ crucified for sinners remains the center of all faithful preaching and teaching.
"The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." — 1 Timothy 1:15
