But what really happens as soon as we take a step towards that path is we suddenly feel lost. We go through a series of not knowing what to do and where to go, for this life is a whole lot different from our day-to-day as an athlete.
But truth be told, we can actually achieve whatever it is that we’re going after. It might scare you off at first, but as soon as you get to bridge that gap between your experiences and apply your athletic superpowers to your present, you’ll ace this life. Penelope Yamauchi is a career coach aside from being the Director of Candidate Experience at Vendition. She is a former D1 swimmer and 2012 Olympic Trial Qualifier dedicated to helping athletes and underrepresented minorities begin meaningful career opportunities.
