So, how does Nordic, Scandi or Siberian Animism differ from the Indo-European forms anyway? Firstly, it&#39;s had more contact with Shamanism, leading from duality to triadic relationships.Secondly, the personhood is darker, less related to daughter culture, due to the climate.Thirdly, the management of the landscape has changed, meaning that these people have a different relationship to the environment when compared to hunter-gatherers, or a pastoral community.

Freewill is the belief in an internal decision-making process, used in the Abrahamic religions to help you to make moral choices. Karma disputes Freewill by claiming that instead of our being capable of utilizing Freewill, a lot of our activity is predetermined by outside influences, most noticeably the life we lived prior to our former deaths.Animism frequently falls into the Karma system, since many believe that consciousnesses we perceive to exist inside physical objects may have been human in the past.But this isn&#39;t a blanket-cover-all belief across all Animism, and so we introduce the Pathway system.(Incidentally, less dependence upon freewill allows us to live in the moment and be spontaneous, key attributes for an Animist.)

In Europe we are blessed with a high number of holy wells, some of the traditions associated with these sites are Christian, others are Celtic or Roman. but then other holy well sites date back to the Neolithic period.Utilizing the power of wells for healing is possibly a later Christian tradition based upon the concept of baptism, Vitalism and holy reliquaries. (something we examine, just to rule it out as being non-animistic)yet, Water itself has Animistic qualities, wells run dry, then water reappears later, illustrating the turning of the season, the ending of drought and the return to fertility.
