Darkness. War. Chains leading to a castle in the sky. Falling.  A group of heroes awaken in an alleyway with no memory of who the others are or how they got there. They only have a deep sense of trust and the word of a stranger that they were on a mission to kill the king. They got very close but ultimately failed. Now, thanks to the actions of their strange new friend, they have another chance. The king does not know that they still live, much less that they now know where his power comes from. Now they have to come up with a new plan and remove as much of the king’s power as possible before he realizes they are still alive. Along the way they will meet new, interesting friends and discover just how far the king has gone to preserve his own life. If they fail this time, there will be no coming back.

The queen has led the Disciples into the Imaginarium, the training and testing ground for the rebellion. Much time has passed since she saw them last, though she has been watching their progress from afar. Within the Imaginarium, they can test out their new weapons and show off their skills and she challenges them to do so. This is their chance to show how they have grown since their last encounter. So begins an epic battle between the Disciples and an ancient golden dragon. The Disciples prove to be more of a challenge than the queen expected, but they still have more to learn. New gifts in hand, the Disciples eagerly look to the next wonderful thing. The queen invites them into the Imaginarium, the magical place where they do most of their training. Once plugged in, the Disciples appear as their ideal selves, which is a strange experience for some of them. In the Imaginarium, Iromae and WLL find they can access the information the rebellion has on them. They use that to try and find some of the answers they seek but to no avail. Before they can get too caught up in the strangeness of this place, the queen reminds them why they are there. The Disciples have been through a lot since this whole thing began. Now it is time for them to show what they have learned. Killer Kobolds: Fuel for the Engine God

The Disciples find themselves face to face with their mysterious benefactor for the first time since long before this journey began. They are surprised to see that it is the queen who hired them, but it is undoubtedly her. She leads them to her impossible lair where there is a veritable army of kobolds working on inventions of all kinds.There WLL is delighted to find a new elemental friend in a unique body that allows it to safely interact with others. 16. Enter, the Queen

With the new shield completed, WLL and Vikros test out its new capabilities while Ikki and Magdar begin making plans for the hornet armor. They don’t get very far before everyone turns in for the night.  The following morning everyone is surprised to find the dragons have entered the tower without permission, causing quite the stir. Segrin is quickly banished while Hildreth runs off to go and find Magdar. The king has discovered the location of their benefactor so the party needs to leave quickly if they are to meet her. So they all gather their things and set off on dragon back, causing even more of a fuss. They fly for a few hours, avoiding detection by the king’s ships, before finally arriving at the island chain. There the party is dropped off while the dragons go to deal with the king’s ships. 15. Flights of Fancy

WLL takes the time to introduce the rest of the Disciples to his old friend, Captain Valthan. Afterward, he escorts him back to the room, only then discovering the true horror of what he had been through. He witnessed the captain’s lack of eyes and said nothing, only making plans to meet him the next morning to join his tactics class. Then he goes to visit Iromae to see what she knows of what happened to the Captain. She recognizes the description as that of what happens to the highest priority political prisoners. The ones that are never seen again, that are exposed to the king’s ilithid.  Meanwhile, Ikki continues working on the project he has been working on since the start of the campaign. He enlists the help of WLL to carve in the final runes and the party gathers to watch the project reach completion. It is an awe-inspiring thing followed up by the beginning of plans to armor Magdar’s hornets. 14. The Lost Captain

WLL, Vikros, and Magdar are successful in joining the pugilists&#39; ring at the Falling Dragon. Maximus explains the rules of the ring to them as they sign their names on the roster, before heading downstairs to make sure Bart Enderman didn’t do anything stupid while he was away. Then the party settles down for a free drink and a rest before their next meeting.  The captain of the guard shows up just as they were preparing to leave to find him. They talk shop for a time before he finally explains his real reason for wanting to meet with them. One of the were-rats they fought is a particularly nasty criminal who is the leader of the were-creatures and loyal to the king. He has escaped capture by hiding in the old mining tunnels beneath the city and the captain needs their help to track him down. 13.  Unexpected Meetings

After witnessing the naval battles, the captain of the guard indicates to Iromae that he will meet with them later, so they have some time to kill. Ikki and Artemis return to the tower to return to their experiments while the rest of the party goes in search of a drink. They check out a few different locations before Vikros remembers seeing a sign for the Falling Dragon. Seeing a sign outside of the window that says ‘pugilists wanted’ seals the deal for Wall, Vikros, and Magdar. The party files in and meets one of the owners and the head of the pugilist ring, Maximus, former military trainer for the rebellion. If they can beat him, they can be a part of the ring. 12. Fight Club

Magdar wraps up his initial negotiations with the stable owner after getting a chance to properly ride one of the battle toads. While the party was watching the shenanigans, Hildreth and Segrin came to find them in hopes to continue their conversation from the previous night. There is some back and forth before it is decided that they will all be joining Mike and Tim in their suite at the Colosseum. This way they are guaranteed some privacy and the boys can watch the games.  The party tells the dragons that they have decided they will pursue whatever chance they have at saving the world. Iromae also asks if they know anything about who hired them. It turns out the king has a rival, an antithesis. And she is currently hiding out in a nearby island chain. So the party decides they will go and meet her while Mike and Tim deal with a nearby shaman who seems to have found a star stone. After an intense battle with some werecreatures (the audio for which was unfortunately lost), the party made it safely back to BS Tower. Now that they are rested and their new friend Magdar has been restored, they take some time to enjoy a nice breakfast before deciding where to go next. They have a meeting set for sometime later in the day with Hildreth and Segrin, but first, Magdar wants to see a man about a frog. 10. Slippery Negotiations

Ikki&#39;s big project only lacks some white dragon scales, but before they can be purchased, the shop owner wants to meet the artist. And so the party has been invited to dinner by the mysterious shopkeep. Iromae spends some time in the temple of Helm while Vikros and crew go to gather the rest of the party. Things have been progressing between Linguini and McKayla, leading to Mike and Tim pulling the kid aside for two very different conversations. Dinner that night quickly takes an unexpected turn as the party realizes this odd shopkeeper is much more than he appeared. And the friends he invited have surprises of their own for the party. The stakes for this job are a lot higher than they first appeared. 9. Dragon Scales and Dinner Tales

After the shocking news delivered by Jinnabon and a long conversation between a few of the Spectacles and Iromae, the Disciples all return to their rooms for a night&#39;s rest. The next morning Vikros, Iromae, AD, and Magdar set out to do some shopping. The party is soon to travel further into the cold northern tundra, so their main goal is to get some cold-weather gear. Ikki has also requested some white dragon scales, which eventually leads them to a magic shop with a very interesting proprietor. He says he will give them the scales if they agree to bring the artisan to dinner at his abode that night. 8. A Much Needed Shopping Trip

Jinnabon&#39;s unexpected appearance receives a warm reception from the party. The news he brings, though, is less well-received. The king knows that someone has been stealing his power sources, so he has withdrawn his power. Our hunting for the star stones has reached its end. He also knows that we are alive, though he does not know it is us who stole the two stones. Also, Asmodeus has sent his daughter to rectify our continued existence. Before he has to leave he tells us to seek out a strange man with golden eyes that no one can quite seem to remember and to ask him about the next key. The wizards are shocked afterward to hear there was a god in their halls. Iromae is pulled aside for a brief conversation to make sure that her story matches up with what they expect and she is surprised to learn that they more or less know exactly who she was, though they never directly say it. The Disciples all return to their quarters in their own time for some rest before a day of preparation for their trek into the frozen north. After a tour of the tower, the Disciples are left to their own devices until dinner time. Iromae and Vikros take some time to unwind and process the events of the past few days. Ikki and Wall make use of the balcony to study the tactics used in the ship battles down in the Colosseum. Artemis, being ever inquisitive, finds his way to the library and to a laboratory. Meanwhile, Magdar goes off in search of a drink and learns the hard way that you need to be specific when the fae are involved.  Soon everyone is called to dinner and the party is put on display for the Spectacles. All questions are saved for after dessert. As is another surprise. 6. Dinner and a Spectacle

After successfully passing the test of intention, the Disciples are allowed to enter the city of Hope&#39;s Fall. Barnabas Spectacle guides them in and invites them to stay with him in the impossible and obnoxiously colorful wizard&#39;s tower in the heart of the city. The party gets a brief tour of the city before they discover the series of odd creatures the Spectacles have created. There is a brief detour as Magdar attempts to ride a frog before they are passed off to Dary, his daughter in law, who gives the party a tour of the tower and shows them to their rooms. The tour is almost sensory overload with how nonsensical this tower is, but the most baffling for our warriors is the sheer amount of bureaucracy they have to work through to fight in the Collesium. 5. Hope's Fall

The star stone has been successfully retrieved, so the Golden Harpy continues on its merry way to the rebel city. There is healing, drinking, and small amounts of revelry as our DM kept losing his connection, leaving room for some side conversations and a few orders of shark nuggets. The city of Hope’s Fall looms in the distance but the party’s intentions must be tested first. One Barnabas Spectacle is sent to investigate when the scrying spell does not work on one of the party members and so he has to pull Iromae aside to discern her intentions when it comes to entering the city. She speaks the truth and they are allowed to continue. The Spectacles are an odd family of wizards, obsessed with experimentation, and the party has been invited to stay in their tower. 4. A Rebel Welcome

Not long after hitting the ocean floor, the Disciples found themselves face to face with a Kraken. Not a full-grown Kraken, mind you, but one of the king’s specially crafted abominations. Throw some sharks into the mix and it should be an interesting fight indeed. Once the fight ends, it does not take Artemis long to locate the second star stone. Iromae and Vikros join him in retrieving it while the rest of the party harvest trophies. Then they have another problem to solve. 3. Here Comes the Kraken

The Disciples have gotten as close to their destination as they can by ship, short of sinking it, so it is time for them to get creative. Ikki and Vikros volunteer to investigate beneath the ocean’s surface to see if they can find where the star stone is. Meanwhile, everyone else prepares for what promises to be an interesting swim. The stones of water-breathing solve one problem, but there are a few other obstacles to face on the way to their prize. Like the king’s Kraken.  Once again, things aren&#39;t quite as they seem but the Disciples are in for an interesting fight nonetheless. 2. Into the Depths

After a violent spat with some members of the Cult of Asmodeus who the Disciples thoroughly pissed off back in Reaper&#39;s Gallows, the party takes some time to rest while the crew tends to the ship. Iromae is able to help patch up the few injuries while Wall, Vikros, and Magdar assist in the repairs. Meanwhile, Wall is reeling with anger after seeing the man who cost him everything. He is even angrier at the fact the man got away, but there was nothing the party could do. So they press onward, following the pull of the amulet to find the next piece of the star before the military discovers their presence on the sea. The sooner they reach the safety of the rebel city, the better. The Story So Far

Darkness. War. Chains leading to a castle in the sky. Falling.

A group of heroes awaken in an alleyway with no memory of who the others are or how they got there. They only have a deep sense of trust and the word of a stranger that they were on a mission to kill the king. They got very close but ultimately failed. Now, thanks to the actions of their strange new friend, they have another chance. The king does not know that they still live, much less that they now know where his power comes from.

Now they have to come up with a new plan and remove as much of the king’s power as possible before he realizes they are still alive. Along the way they will meet new, interesting friends and discover just how far the king has gone to preserve his own life. If they fail this time, there will be no coming back.
