In this conversation with Hall of Fame Coach Dr. Nikki Franke, we discuss her rapid ascent as a competitive fencer, including national, international, and Olympic accomplishments. The first Black woman to coach a NCAA fencing team, Dr. Franke has built the Temple program from inception to fifty years of success, and been awarded the USFCA Women&#39;s Fencing Coach of the year on four occasions. She also continues to build upon her legacy as a founding member of the Black Women In Sports Foundation.
