Released in 1980, this story by legendary comics duo Chris Claremont and John Byrne is one of the most famous in comics history, following the corruption and eventual fall of Jean Grey, also known as Phoenix of the X-Men. It is also notable for introducing Kitty Pryde and Emma Frost, both of whom become major players in the X-Men franchise and eventually the Marvel Universe at large.

For the deeply unhinged two-year anniversary of MCMF, Marcus is joined by his girlfriend Shay to talk about SASS AND SORCERY, the first volume of RAT QUEENS! Released in 2014, Rat Queens was an instant hit on Image Comics&#39; Shadowline imprint before a series of fumbles sent it into hiatus, where it never really recovered. It focuses on the titular Queens, an adventuring party in the town of Palisade, and their constant misadventures both on and off the battlefield.
