What do a war‑torn nation in 1939, a garden with two trees, a burning bush, a fiery furnace, and a cross between two criminals all have in common? They all point to one surprising truth: Jesus is in the Middle. In this episode, we start with the story of Poland—caught between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union—and use it as a picture of what it feels like to be trapped in the middle of forces beyond our control. From there, we trace a single thread through Scripture: God’s presence showing up again and again in the middle—of gardens, covenants, clouds, camps, storms, fires, and finally, on a cross. Whether you’re in the middle of a tough decision, a season of fear, or a conflict you didn’t choose, this message is a reminder: God is not distant from your middle. He steps into it. What kind of fruit is your life producing?
